Maari Ma Health is an Aboriginal community controlled health service providing a quality service to the Aboriginal people of far western New South Wales. Maari Ma has been providing health care for over 20 years and employs over 120 people within the region.

We now have full-time opportunities for Registered Nurses to join our team in Broken Hill, New South Wales.

Reporting to the Manager, Clinic and Community, you will be responsible for Coordinating & assisting in a wide variety of treatments & care activities using a patient-centred approach.  These include care planning & coordination, health assessments, wound care, chronic disease care, vaccinations, procedural operations & triage.

You will have current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand and be eligible for registration with AHPRA in Australia.   

Working with predominantly Indigenous clients, you will have the ability to work with Indigenous staff and communities in a way that fosters mutual respect. You will be approachable and empathetic and be comfortable working in a multi-disciplinary, cross-cultural environment and working closely with Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
